- The archive is a collection of paper-based material relating to the Great Central Railway and its successors.
- The archive is stored at The Immingham Museum in North East Lincolnshire.
- The role of archivist is shared between Gordon Luck (01469 574637 / gluck70972@aol.com) and Malcolm Hayles (01472 823369 / malcolmhayles@virginmedia.com).
- The museum opening times are Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday from 1pm to 4pm except during the 2024/25 winter closure during Dec/Jan/Feb.
- The archive can only be accessed when an archivist is in attendance at the museum.
Gordon Luck is available on Wednesdays to open the archive. Last attendance before the winter closure is Wed.27 Nov and re-opens on Wed.5 March.
Please contact him beforehand.
- An A3 scanner and an internet-connected computer is available to scan material and save it to storage media or send it to your own e-mail address.
- Material is in the process of being scanned and placed on the members-only page (see above) of the website.
